Tim’s own lived experience with trauma, ADHD and mental health challenges, was deepened by his ‘bounced-back’ from a 2016 catastrophic car crash. For 12 years Tim had been a suicide prevention trainer and has 20+ years experience as a crisis response volunteer, including serving as a trainer of new Boots on the Ground volunteers – Ontario’s peer-support crisis-line for First Responders, Nurses and Military Veterans.
Tim’s compassion guides his use of therapeutic approaches, including providing family therapy and couples counselling in addition to specializing in ADHD-targeted individual therapy. As a Registered Psychotherapist, Tim returns to a full-time counselling role to support the emotional well-being and resiliency of families, couples, and adults (or teens 16 & older), following a 30-year career helping organizations enhance workplace relationships.
